Healthy Eating

It's so easy to caught up in "fast food". If that's rushing through the drive-thru our heating up a Hot Pocket in the microwave, it's usually packed with calories and very little nutrients. That was my typical for the past three months. Going out to eat because we got too busy and by the time we realized we were hungry- we were REALLY hungry! Going out to eat isn't any better. Packed with calories and high prices, I knew we had to make a change. 

Lately we LOVE grilling! We go grocery shopping a few times a month and stock up on sale meat. Chicken, steak, you name it! Kind of like a crock pot meal, we set it out mid-day so it's unthawed by the time we are ready to grill. We put our favorite seasonings on them and finish the meal with fresh grilled veggies OR microwave steam bags.
